A movement, one song at a time
A song made with Curtis became a school conversation. That conversation became kids singing together. We Rise Up Strong turns that into a community where every student knows they are seen, supported, and strong.
Some kids stand by themselves, and some stay quiet to stay safe.
Someone notices. A song, a voice, a moment that says “I hear you.”
Friends, teachers, and families stand with them.
Every kid finds the courage to speak up and stand tall.
The whole room sings. Nobody sings alone.
Alone becomes together, one voice at a time.
The story
Dan Roeder created the song BullyProof from ideas shared by his friend Curtis Scofield. When Dan asked Curtis what character he would be, Curtis, who loves baseball, chose a lion in a Kings uniform, and Julie brought his puppet and lion versions to life. Curtis lip-syncs the song in the film. The film was produced using multiple AI tools across the vocals, images, and video clips.
Now they are bringing it into schools, so kids can learn it, sing it, and talk about what it means to stand up for each other.
We rise above, we never hide. Lyric from the song BullyProof.

Co-created the song and is a central voice of this mission. When Dan asked what character he would be, Curtis chose a baseball-loving lion, the brave lion you meet at the end of the film. He lip-syncs the song in the video.
Curtis's personal story is shared only after he reviews and approves it.
Company partner, JULDD LLC. Creator of the We Rise Up Strong storybook, which she wrote and illustrated, and of the coloring book and the stickers in the shop. She also created the film's characters and scenes, including Curtis's puppet and lion, drawing on the Singalingables characters she and Dan created for JULDD Media.
The film
Play it, sing it, and share it with the kids in your life.
Curtis's scenes are his own lip-sync performances.
